BLACKPINK's Lisa broke Jennie's record for 3 years.
Lisa of the group BLACKPINK became the first K-pop solo artist to topped the K-pop radar weekly chart for three consecutive weeks.
Lisa's "LALISA" music video topped the list for the third consecutive week, recording 39.48 million views during the 39th week of K-pop Radar (September 19th to September 25th).
Lisa added about 40 million views to the "Lalisa" music video in the 39th week, setting a record of surpassing 200 million views in just 13 days of release. This is the shortest 200 million views in the history of K-pop solo female singers, about seven times faster than the previous record of K-pop female soloists (90 days) that BLACKPINK member Jenny has maintained for about three years.
In response, K-pop Radar said, "Only BLACKPINK members are breaking the record for the shortest female solo artist in K-pop," adding, "It is a record that can reaffirm the reputation of the K-pop YouTube Queen."
He added, "Lisa will also win the shortest 300 million view title with the current trend of views."
Since Lisa's solo debut, not only music videos but also Instagram indicators have shown a remarkable rise. Lisa's personal Instagram followers have increased by about 780,000 over the past week, up more than 100,000 from the weekly increase immediately after the comeback.
Lisa's personal Instagram followers surpassed 60 million cumulative followers through a large influx in the 39th week, earning the honor of K-pop's first 60 million followers.
Among them, on the weekly Twitter and Spotify follower charts, BTS remained at the top with 240,000 and 310,000 followers, respectively. In addition, ITZY's "Loco" newly entered second place on the weekly music video chart, drawing attention.
